Trudeau stopping in Yellowknife on cross-country tour Friday

We originally thought he wouldn’t be coming, but it turns out the prime minister will be stopping in Yellowknife on his cross-country tour.

Justin Trudeau will be holding a town hall Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Multiplex Arena to hear from residents according to a tweet from MP Michael McLeod.

The prime minister has been making stops across Canada this year, answering questions and hearing concerns and criticisms from members of the public.

Trudeau last visited the Northwest Territories ahead of the 2015 federal election.
