A 20-year-old man is facing three charges after RCMP allegedly caught him invading a Yellowknife home Saturday afternoon.
RCMP arrived at the home at around 4:15 p.m., where they arrested a suspect as he was leaving the premises.
Tyler Husky from Fort McPherson has been charged with forcible entry, theft under $5,000 and uttering threats.
“The RCMP wishes to remind the public to be vigilant on their personal and home security,” said RCMP media liaison Marie York-Condon.
“Home invasions do occur in our communities, and we encourage our citizens to lock doors and be aware of your surroundings.”
