Tulita residents facing liquor related charges

Three Tulita residents are being charged with causing a domestic disturbance.

On Sunday, June 11th Tulita police located 3 adults in a boat tied to shore drinking liquor.

RCMP found 44 bottles of 375ml vodka, 12 cans of Palm Bays, 5 bottles of 755ml vodka and fireball and 2 bottles of 60 ounce Vodka.

The 3 adults were released when sober with tickets under the NWT Liquor Act. The liquor as well as the boat they were transporting the liquor in were seized as well.

As the charges are not sworn in court at the time of this release police are not releasing any additional information of the identity of the persons.
