Details slim on MMIW Yellowknife August visit

The Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous women will be in Yellowknife at the end of August.

The community visit will prepare the Inquiry for the full hearings taking place in mid November.

Communications advisor Caroline Nepton Hotte tells Moose FM that the summer visit offers the chance to meet with the Inquiry team to register for the fall hearings.

Both the Inquiry and the Department of Justice are not able to provide locations and times for the upcoming community visit.

The inquiry will be in Yellowknife from August 28th to September 1st.
