Suspicious Fort Good Hope death leads to investigation

Fort Good Hope RCMP are looking into a suspicious death.

Early Sunday morning, police received a call of an unresponsive man. The man was later pronounced dead.

The “G” Division RCMP Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, and Police Dog Service Unit have arrived in the community and are assisting with the investigation.

No other details have been released at this time due to what the RCMP are calling “the ongoing nature of the investigation.”
