Update: Police make third arrest over Yellowknife taxi robbery

Police have arrested a third person in connection with the robbing of a Yellowknife taxi driver last week.

Denecho King, 22, was the subject of a police appeal for information but has now been arrested and is set to appear in court.

Earlier, Yellowknife residents Karma Eeyeevadluk, 18, and 20-year-old Bradley King had been arrested. Eeyeevadluk was charged with robbery; both were charged with failure to comply.

Police say the driver was robbed at around 10:15pm on Wednesday, February 25.

The suspects stole money from the driver before fleeing the scene.
