Help! I woke up and my NWTel TV channels had moved

Yes. Yes, they have.

Northwestel, up to its ears in wiring while trying to solve recent internet problems in Yellowknife, has taken a few extra moments to switch around your TV channels.

The company says Digital TV and Pulse TV subscribers will find 64 channels moved overnight – to make room for 99 new channels this fall, 78 of which will be HD.

Those channels have not disappeared, they’re simply elsewhere. To find out where your favourite channel has gone, consult this list on Northwestel’s website.

Northwestel says the changes are necessary to make room for extra sports, movie and nature channels and packages.
