The Woodyard, Yellowknife’s brewpub, opens its doors

The first customers have been allowed a glimpse inside Yellowknife’s new brewpub – and a taste of its menu.

While there remains some red tape before brewing can begin at the facility, residents have spent the past week sampling the food, atmosphere and a selection of guest beverages. The brewpub’s official name? The Woodyard.

Friday and Saturday saw customers welcomed in for lunch, with evening openings beginning this week.

“The good news is our first weekend was a huge success,” the team behind The Woodyard wrote on Facebook. “But the bad news is you ate us out of food!’

Here are some of the images coming out of The Woodyard from its opening days.
