Yellowknife RCMP say two people have been arrested following the execution of a search warrant at a residence in N’Dilo.
Members of the Yellowknife RCMP Crime Reduction Unit executed the warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on Jan. 15.
The search resulted in the seizure of a small quantity of marijuana and evidence of drug trafficking.
According to an RCMP statement, “the community of N’Dilo has expressed concerns regarding illicit drugs and substance abuse. This investigation is part of the on-going commitment of the Yellowknife RCMP to respond to these concerns.”
Police continue to investigate.
