The future of Hay River’s furry friends are on tonight’s agenda for the new Board of Directors.

The Hay River SPCA is holding a general meeting at Aurora College.
President Kelsey Gill tells Moose FM that tonight’s meeting will focus on the meat and potatoes of the SPCA.
Votes will be held on the society’s name, constitution and by laws.
The previous Hay River Board of Directors was dissolved in May, temporarily shutting down the SPCA.
NWT SPCA President Nicole Spencer says the Hay River Animal Shelter has been helping to find homes for the stray
animals.
Anyone interested in becoming a board member for the Hay River SPCA are invited to attend.
Doors Open at Aurora college at 7pm with the meeting expected to start at 7:30.
