Pete’s Pajama Drive is collecting PJ’s for seniors in Yellowknife.
The drive was started by Jennifer Pagonis after her father passed away a few years ago.
A couple weeks back, Jennifer was in the Moose studio. She spoke about how her father was a kind man, always willing to give what he could.
“He always gave stuff out to people who didn’t necessarily have what they needed,” said Pagonis. “We’re still learning about what he did for the community and people, even this long after he’s passed.”
In a more recent conversation, Jennifer gave an update on the Drive. She mentioned they’ve almost reached their final goal.
“The Pajama Drive is going really well. We’re almost at our goal!
“We’re still searching for more men’s pajamas: small, medium, large. We’re still, also, looking for women’s two pieces in medium, large, extra-large and double XL.”
