The Government of the Northwest Territories’ Department of Infrastructure has announced the Dempster Highway has been closed between Fort McPherson and Eagle Plains.
The closure, announced via Twitter, is due to ‘zero visibility‘.
Last night, INF also announced dual-delays along Ingraham Trail due to two different tractor trailers holding up traffic.
Traffic along Highway 3 was also closed yesterday morning after a pedestrian was killed in a single vehicle crash. The highway has since been re-opened. CJCD is still waiting on more details to be released.
