Aklavik man found dead, investigation continues

Aklavik RCMP are investigating a sudden death in the community.

Police responded to a call on Wednesday afternoon to find a 40-year old man dead in an Aklavik residence.

Members of the Northwest Territories RCMP Major Crimes Unit; Forensic Identification Services and NWT Coroner Service have travelled to Aklavik and are investigating this death. The RCMP is supporting the NWT Coroner Service in their investigation.
