Yellowknife RCMP investigate death in Ndilo

Yellowknife RCMP are currently investigating a death in the community of Ndilo.

Just before 6 p.m. last night, Yellowknife RCMP were dispatched to a report of a body found behind a residence in Ndilo.

RCMP officers attended the location and were able to confirm the presence of a dead person.

Members of the Yellowknife RCMP, Major Crimes Unit; Forensic Identification Services and NWT Coroner Service are investigating this death. 

The RCMP are supporting the NWT Office of the Chief Coroner in their investigation. 

The investigation is in its early stages. To protect the integrity of the investigation no further information will be released at this time, Yellowknife RCMP said.
