Behchoko RCMP seek public’s help to locate missing man

The RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man.

Behchoko RCMP are seeking the public’s help to locate 21-year-old Jermaine Joe Camsell.

Camsell is described as Indigenous, 165 cm / 5’5” tall, 60 kg / 132 lbs, slim build, with black hair and brown eyes. He was reported to be wearing black pants, a grey/black windbreaker style jacket, a grey/dark coloured had with slight facial hair over top lip.

Jermaine is believed to be on foot. He was last seen in Behchoko around 5:30 pm on Saturday.   He was reported missing on Sunday and an investigation was started.

Jermaine is believed to have accessed two kayaks on the evening of July 28.  Both have been recovered with no signs of Jermaine in the immediate area. A search and rescue effort has begun and includes air, marine and ground searches.  Family members and community volunteers are helping with the search.
