Do you want to help spread the holiday cheer? The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help with their Christmas Kettle Campaign in Yellowknife. The campaign runs from November 15th till December 24th. Participants can choose from shifts 4-8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Community groups are encouraged by the Salvation Army to sign-up to volunteer as well. Kettles accept cash donations and new this year – debit and credit. Donations can also be made online at FillTheKettle.com.
Anyone interested in ringing the bells for the Salvation Army is asked to sign-up at YZFkettles.ca or call 920-HOPE ext. 121. Get into the Christmas spirit with the Salvation Army this Christmas.
