MADD Fort Simpson kicks off Project Red Ribbon

MADD Fort Simpson is getting ready to start their campaign to help prevent impaired driving this holiday season. Project Red Ribbon kicks off on Saturday, November 17th at 5 p.m. at the Recreation Centre in Fort Simpson.

According to MADD Fort Simpson, Project Red Ribbon raises awareness about the risks of impaired driving during the holiday season and encourages motorists to always drive sober. MADD Fort Simpson, along with local partners and businesses is asking residents to show their commitment to sober driving by tying a red ribbon to their vehicles, key chains, purses, briefcases and backpacks. The organization says the sober driving message is especially crucial this season due to the legalization of cannabis.

Red ribbons and car decals are available from MADD Fort Simpson at [email protected] and the MADD Canada web site at madd.ca.
