Man facing charges after break and enter in downtown Yellowknife

An alleged break and enter at a business near Franklin Avenue and 50th Street happened at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Yellowknife RCMP responded to a call and discovered that a business’ front window appeared to be broken and that some items might have been removed from the business.

A short time later, RCMP arrested a 36-year-old man who resides in Yellowknife. He is currently in custody.

The man has been charged with:

  • two counts of Theft Under $5,000.
  • one count of Fail to comply probation officer.
  • one count of Mischief equal or under $5,000.
  • one count of Break and Enter.
