Norman Wells RCMP are investigating a fire that occurred in a residence on June 16th. At 7:23 a.m., They received a call regarding a house on fire and attended the site within minutes.

Upon arrival on the scene, officers assisted the Norman Wells Fire Department by evacuating the houses in the area and by providing traffic control. Three people were safely evacuated from the house on fire without injury.

The Fire Department fought the blaze and quickly contained it to prevent spreading to surrounding buildings; however, the house is a total loss.

Norman Wells RCMP is leading the investigation and is liaising with the Office of the Fire Marshal.
