The Iqaluit RCMP are currently investigating a Homicide.
On September 20, at approximately 4:00 a.m. the Iqaluit RCMP Detachment were dispatched to an apartment in the 4100 block area where they located a deceased woman.
An adult male was arrested without incident and has since been charged with Second Degree Murder and several other offences related to breaching Court orders.
He remains in custody until his next court appearance on October 8, 2019 in Iqaluit.

V Division Major Crimes Unit with the assistance the Forensic Identification Services are continuing the investigation.
A publication ban is in place and the man’s name cannot be released.
