Together, with partners in support of Remembrance Day, the marchers will circle through downtown Yellowknife. Starting on 49th Street, the parade will move towards Franklin Avenue, then turn on 53rd Street to stop at the Cenotaph on Veterans Memorial Drive.

A wreath-laying ceremony will take place and the parade will continue back towards 49th Street, and then towards Saint Patrick’s High School (51st Ave), for the official ceremony.

The RCMP reminds motorists that some, or all, of the parade route, will be blocked off during the parade, from approximately 9:00 a.m., to 11:00 a.m., to ensure the safety of the marchers and those who wish to line the streets to watch the parade. Please plan your travel routes accordingly.

The RCMP is proud to support this long-standing tradition for all those who have, are and will serve.

We will remember them, the RCMP said.
