Fort Simpson RCMP seize drugs and cash

Fort Simpson RCMP seized drugs and Canadian currency, following a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) investigation.
On Saturday, November 9, a search warrant was executed at a residence.
During the search, the RCMP seized crack cocaine, a digital scale with suspected cocaine residue and approximately $1900 in Canadian currency. The RCMP arrested and charged one suspect.
Ismail Hassan Farah, 23, from Edmonton, AB, is charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of Trafficking CDSA
- Possession of property obtained by crime
Charges are pending for two more suspects according to the RCMP. The investigation is ongoing.
