In pictures: Yellowknife’s 2015 community barbecue

The Mayor of Yellowknife and city councillors treated residents to a free community barbecue outside City Hall on Thursday evening.

Municipal politicians were kept sweating over the grill as dozens of hungry Yellowknifers formed lines snaking back through the Somba K’e Civic Plaza.

Face painting, a bouncy castle, and music from the likes of NWT singer-songwriter Mary Caroline kept residents entertained while they waited.
