The NWTRPA and Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute will be offering a De-Escalating Potentially Violent Situations™ workshop instructed by Marnie Stickley, MSW, RSW. Over the two-day course, participants will develop a clear understanding of how to assess the potential for violence and respond with a diverse set of interpersonal tools and strategies designed to defuse potentially violent situations. A Chase the Ace draw hosted by the Beats Dance Society held every Friday at the Monkey Tree Pub. Tickets are sold from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm with the draw being held by 8:45 pm. Jackpot is over $6,000. The Beats Dance Society raises funds to assist members of the Bella Beats Dance Troupe, dancers aged 8 to 18, attend conventions, workshops and competitions each year.
