GNWT install arsenic warning signs at YK lakes

The Government of the Northwest Territories and the City of Yellowknife have installed arsenic warning signs at several lakes located in the YK area.

Those lakes are:

  • Frame Lake
  • Jackfish Lake
  • Kam Lake
  • Rat Lake

These signs join the list of other steps taken earlier this year to help raise awareness.

The Government of the Northwest Territories has also launched an interactive map that shows the concentrations of the lakes surrounding Yellowknife.
