RCMP investigate third NWT sudden death reported this week

NWT RCMP are investigating the third sudden death of the week in the territory.

Inuvik police received a call Wednesday morning reporting the death.

When RCMP members entered the residence, they found a 38-year old woman dead.

Members of the Northwest Territories RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services have travelled to Inuvik, and together with NWT Coroner Service, are investigating this death. The RCMP is supporting the NWT Coroner Service in their investigation.

As with the other two cases, we will update you when more information is made available.
