Hay River RCMP extend reach of search for missing person

The search for David Park continues for Hay River RCMP.

Park, 34, was last seen on the morning of April 3rd. He was then reported missing by his co-workers the next day.

David Park is described by police as Korean descent, 5’8”, roughly 150 lbs with a slight build, short black hair and brown eyes. They have added that he speaks Korean with limited English.

David has been residing in Hay River for the past few months and was reported missing by his co-workers.

Media Relations for the NWT RCMP, Marie York-Condon, says the RCMP has extended its search reach for Park, reaching out to jurisdictions south of the border.

The RCMP continues the investigation into missing person, Junghwan Park (a.k.a. David Park). We have not stopped looking or investigating since he was reported missing. We have extended the area of sharing the missing person information to our jurisdictions south of the Northwest Territories and encourage people to continue to share this information in our search for David.

The RCMP is also asking residents of Hay River to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, even asking them to check sheds, vehicles, other buildings for anything that seems out of place.
